Robots at the NDP

The Singapore Armed Forces, Hand Plus Robotics, Mitsubishi Electric Asia Pacific, OnRobot, and Creatz3D have partnered to bring innovation to how the tote bags for the National Day Parade 2022 are packed. This is a small but critical step towards adopting more automation in the public sector. The whole plan was risky due to the short timeline and the nature of the picking task. But with the help of all the partners, we push through. Who would have thought that a complex system like this would be up and running after only 3 months from concept to deployment?
