It was a privilege to host undergraduate students from Ateneo de Manila University in our office in Singapore last month. The students worked on robot arm programming and with internal and external engineers to experiment with, picking and placing fragile and expensive items. We wanted to give the students a front-seat view of how robotics translates from a concept to a fully functioning system. As Hand Plus aims to be a regional player in the robotics and automation industry, we open our doors to interns and students across the region too.

This pilot engagement program of Singapore start-ups is a joint project of Leave-A-Nest and Ateneo Intellectual Property Office. Hand Plus is an alumnus of Leave-A-Nest's incubation program in 2020 and coincidentally, our CEO, Dr. Albert Causo, is also an alumnus and ex-faculty of Ateneo de Manila University.
AIPO's Bryan Erfe has summarised the program here: "AIPO Successfully Wraps Up Pilot Singapore Startup Engagement Program".
